Keep locked Extra sandbox pack: audio sandbox on, screen capture off, JS optimizer off. Xwayland is still off (stock). Wayland portals are the path, not “enable X11 for Zoom.”

1. Try the portal first

   GNOME/KDE picker for a window or display. If the site or Flatpak never prompts, it is often policy, not a missing pipewire package.

2. Loosen only the sandbox pack

   ujust set-brave-sandbox off

   Restart the house browser. Do not turn isolation off (WebGL/WebGPU) or JIT on for a meeting. Do not turn Xwayland on unless their FAQ says that exact app is X-only — and treat that app as untrusted.
