Radio

Bluetooth headphones

Keep locked Overlay default: bluetooth.service masked and rfkill blocked. Wi-Fi is not touched. Headphones not pairing is usually this lock, not a missing driver.

  1. Decide you need the radio

Wired or 2.4 GHz dongles that already work do not need this. More radio is more attack surface (and more metadata).

  2. Turn only Bluetooth on

    ujust set-bluetooth on

Same as searching Bluetooth in GNOME/KDE (opens Unwoke setup) or Setup → Turn on. Pair from GNOME/KDE settings as usual. Later, Setup → You loosened → Put it back.

  3. Browser Bluetooth APIs are separate

Site access to Bluetooth/USB/HID is still blocked by the device policy pack. That is good. Do not turn set-brave-devices off to pair headphones — the desktop stack is enough.

Off again: ujust set-bluetooth off. Stock also documents BT on their images; our default is stricter.
